Morgan Freeman Directed Flick Seeks Wilmington Extras
A new film called "Just Like the Son," directed by Morgan Freeman and staring Rosie Perez, (Riding in Cars With Boys, Human Nature, Lacawanna Blues) Mark Webber and Berndon Sexton is lensing scenes in Wilmington.
They're holding an open casting call for families; restaurant patrons, waiters-waitresses, a pickpocket, a motel clerk, a security guard and pedestrians August 17 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at AMVF Productions, 2725 Old Wrightsboro Road, Suite E, Wilmington, NC.
Filming dates in Wilmington begin Tuesday August 23rd. This is a project out of NY that unfortunately is not paying their extras. It's produced by the same people who went to Sundance last year with "Loggerheads."
