Many of Full Frame's award winners are rescreened in an encore performance on the final Sunday afternoon of the festival.

This is Full Frame's 19th annual festival. The 20th annual Full Frame Documentary Film Festival takes place April 6-9, 2017.

Come see us on Sunday!

Today might be the last day of the festival, but there is plenty to do and plenty of great films to see! Missed a film, or excited to see an award winner? Grab a ticket to any one of our SIX SUNDAY ENCORES and you'll experience the buzz-worthiest films of Full Frame.

Invited films MAYA ANGELOU: AND STILL I RISE, THE MUSIC OF STRANGERS, and BEHEMOTH are coming up this afternoon.

VERY SEMI-SERIOUS, part of our Kirsten Johnson Tribute, and MEDIUM COOL, the last film of our Thematic Program, both screen Sunday afternoon.

Budding documentarians are highlighted in the free School of Doc program; this screening features the short film SEEDS: A DOCUMENTARY, made by local high school students who participated in the 2015 Full Frame School of Doc educational summer camp.

Finally, our festival culminates with the free Closing Night Film (free ticket required) NORMAN LEAR: JUST ANOTHER VERSION OF YOU, a portrait of the legendary '70s sitcom creator. This film screens at 8:00pm in Fletcher Hall of the Carolina Theatre, and is a great way to wind down from the high of the Full Frame weekend, surrounded by your fellow documentary lovers.

All this, plus music on the Plaza from The Art of Cool Project and food from some of Durham's famous food trucks—Sunday at Full Frame is not to be missed!
